Fat Injection (or Fat Transfer) is a procedure where fat is taken from a certain part of the body and injected to the desired location. There are many benefits to fat transfers, especially the fact that since the fat is from your own body, there is little risk of your body rejecting it.

Laugh Lines: This is one of the most common areas that we inject in the face. The triangular area that is just next to the nose, if it is deep, can give the illusion that the person is old. Usually we inject the area with the laugh line that goes from nostrils to the corner of the mouth. Injections are made both parallel and perpendicular to this line to give more support and better results. Multiple fat injections are usually needed for this area of the face.
Cheek Bones: For people who like a little fuller cheek bones, we perform fat injection or other types of filler. For people who like to get even a fuller cheek bone look, cheek implants are offered at our younger image plastic surgery center. Enlargement of the cheek area, can in fact improve the appearance of the deep laugh lines and help with wrinkles in that area.
Under Eyes: The area of under the eye is very important in terms of rejuvenation. Forehead and Frown lines: Fat injection can be used with or without Botox for this area of the face. Hands: The hands are another part of the body that can giveaway the age easily. Through thin skins of the hands visible veins and tendons can be an unsightly picture. Fat injection can help fill these areas. Sometimes, laser or peels are done on the skin of the hand to rejuvenate the skin and remove the pigmentations and sun damaged skin marks in combination with fat injection to the hands.
Feet: The same techniques are used to inject fat in the feet as in the hands. Usually fat is injected underneath the skin just between the tendons to fill the defects.
